Research Associate, Embedding Cultural Diversity and Cultural and Linguistic Competence: A Guide for UCEDD Curricula and Training
As a PhD student in school psychology, she focused her clinical training on serving culturally and linguistically diverse populations accessing education and/or mental health services. In addition, her research centers on cultural competence and she has published an article related to stakeholder groups’ perceptions of cultural competence training in Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) Programs. Ms. LaFleur is also a former trainee of Georgia Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (GaLEND).
