This resource is an e-learning program designed to help build knowledge and skills related to cultural and linguistic competency. It is accredited for nurses and social workers. It has excellent content on understanding culture and how it relates to nursing care, addressing the “isms” as well as definitions of cultural and linguistic competence, and understanding laws and regulations related to language access. No content specific to serving individuals with IDD nor about UCEDD settings. The resource could be used as a starting point for a self-guided learning assignment to be augmented in-person with implications for the work of UCEDDs and serving individuals with IDD.
